Close inspection of a variety of feathers from Rosanne's beautiful collection led us to create two group feather poems. We started by brainstorming words to describe them and then played with arranging the words in different ways. We tried using some of the tools that we have learned poets use, such as alliteration and shape. After writing the group poems, we began to try writing our own feather poems. We hope you enjoy our creations!
