Fall Tree Study

It was a perfect fall afternoon to be outside studying trees with 2nd grade yesterday! During integration/community time, Amanda, Jason, Sandy and I set out with the students to look at trees in their glorious fall colors.  In the classroom, we'll be learning about the amazing process of photosynthesis. This was our opportunity to take a close look at fall leaves and see all the changes that are happening.  It was also a quiet, contemplative time in nature after the bustle and excitement of the Halloween parade!
