Storytelling

In the last week, the students enjoyed hearing a story that Betsy told called "Never Give Up" to  help us introduce the tradition of oral storytelling.  Each second grader is now reading a variety of short stories and choosing 3 that they especially like and might enjoy learning to tell.  Very soon, they will get one of these stories to begin to practice.  After more guidance,  instruction and practice, each second grader will share their story when we gather together for our Pioneer Picnic and Storytelling Night on Tuesday, June 10th.
