Come Through In A Hurry!

In Music and Movement, second grade students are engaging in the folk dance "Alabama Gal."  The dance is patterned around four traditional steps also found in the traditional Virginia Reel.
These steps include:

1.  Sashay down the line
2.  Do-Si-So with your partner
3.  Splitting the alley known affectionately as "Peel The Banana"
4.  Traveling through the bridge
5.  Bow to your partner

See below as a group of second graders demonstrate the different steps of "Alabama Gal."
